I'm pretty sure that Take2 doesn't give 2K Sports any money for advertising.

Do you guys remember the Gamespot interview with the new Take2 management back in April '07?
First they said, that they will get rid of all divisions which are losing money within the next 100 days. Then they singled out 2k Sports as an example as a division which is still loosing money.
They also mentioned that the sports game development is pretty expensive and they sounded like its not worth the effort.

Maybe so, but Take 2 is under new leadership now. In fact, they mentioned in their recent conference call that they needed to continue to seek out exclusive licenses.

You are right man, I was hella impressed by that blocking. THE HELL IS THE VIDEOS 2k?

The last few years I have hated Madden, I then found nba 2k7 and thought I found a company that knew exactly what I wanted. But im not some die hard who will just buy the game because it is by 2k. I need info: Videos, screens, A BLOG, or some kind of update so that it can sway me one way or another.

Im just preaching to the choir I know but it is rather idiotic to have the game come out in what? Less then a month? and not have any new daily info coming out. Grr!

You do realize they're just adding a feature (or features, plural) that we saw three years ago. If 2K's gonna get decimated by Madden and NCAA regardless of what they do, why is there the need to keep comparing them? I don't understand where these expectations are coming from. If there's laughter, I'd think it's because consumers have been more than happy with them taking their time to get to this point

Yea being a hardcore fan of 2k football,to say I'm a little pissed right now would be an understatement. This also just happens to be the only news that I am interested in at the moment so it makes it more frustrating. I really hate 2ksports right now.
