So the question still remains. Will this game be available to us the same day it is at the stores? or will we have to wait until the 17th?

I'm all for getting this game delivered to my house, but I honestly don't know if I can sit back and wait a extra day if it's sitting on store shelves a few blocks away.

I'm getting this from my local Game Crazy store, five minutes away compared to a 35 minute drive to the nearest Gamestop. Though the free shipping is a sweet deal.

I'll be checking my nearest Target store though, as they tend to break the "street date" on most games and sell early. If they do this with APF 2K8, I won't be able to resist getting it a day or two early.

Yes, Gamestop always has such good deals like that.

Not only that, but if you buy NCAA 08 at the same time you buy APF, then immediately sell NCAA 08 back to them for $23.99 ($12.99 if you've already unwrapped it), they will give you $1.59 off NFL Gameday 2K9, should it ever be released.
