We don't know the overall presentation yet first off. So no, it is not a reach to go by what we have seen. Did you see the halftime show yet? I sure didn't. I am comparing 2k5's coin toss to this one..which is better to you?

The field pass looks nice so far, does it get old? we don't know. I would consider the sidelines and crowds and player reactions part of presentation...are they better then 2k5? yes.

Its been said before that the Presentation went in another direction. Its too easy to dismiss the presentation because it doesnt look like 2k5's. What has happened in the Next Gen games so far has been a movement towards a more live at the stadium approach awayfrom the TV style presentation. I think APF is doing a good job of mixing both and will most likely outshine its next gen siblings in the presentation department... as NCAA falls short of a authenic college day atmosphere but at it does a better job incorporating some TV style presentation unlike Madden which seems not to know how to do either way well and ends up looking bland on some of the gameplay videos especially the Announincg and Sound department.

In the context of what I was saying, it apeared that you were attempting to cancel out my comment on 2K5's presentation by mentioning the coin toss.

I never said anything about 2K8's overall presentation and can't since we haven't seen it... what I did say is that it looks the way it was described, and it does. If there is more, there's more, but I commented on what we've been told and comparing it to what we've just seen. It's not a reach at all to say that 2K5's looked better in that context.

I don't think it's worked yet either, lol. However, I think 2K is definitely still trying to do it TV-Style. I just don't think you get rid of what made the presentation great before. Sometimes, trying to be different isn't necessary. Like the saying goes, don't try to fix what ain't broken.

Absolutely. You improve on it, not remove some of it. That's something EA gets blasted for year in and year out.

Here is the trend..people see a screen and criticize..then a trailer and criticize and then you see a gameplay vid and notice there is a lot less criticizing as I expected.

Yes..no Berman..no ESPN.but before we dog it, let's at least see how it looks?

Presentation on the field is most important..and that looks better then 2k5 to me.

We don't know the pregame or the halftime yet. We can't comment on it.

actually we did see the "pregame" and it looked good enough to me. the only "in game" presentation of that type I really think was worth copying completely was the halftime. i'm anxious to see what they did there but the post game got old after 2 times seeing it. the pregame in APF is better than 2k5 imo. i don't know how they can match the halftime show though but we'll see what they got.
