But isnt it the same here. In the other game, the scoreboard signals a first down and othere things. In APF the scoreboard does the same thing. Unless they added them (possible) there is no cutscenes or on screen ref functionality. When you get a first down in APF, you are informed of it by the announcers or by a shot of the scoreboard.

Gamespots video quality is arse. How can you guys make out anything in those videos. Hope some other sites start posting gameplay videos.

Voice presentation is obviously a lot like 2k5. I think it is just an amazingly nicer version of 2k5 with tons of details and much better animations and graphics. The prensetation on the field is awesome. It's going to be a blast.

I think the presentation is outstanding. Sorry you can't see that but oh well. The commentary is spot on and absolutely perfect and the atmosphere is so much better than that other game. But hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

In movie #5, after the guy caught the pass from O'Donnell, I liked how they referred back to his previous drop. Also, did anyone notice that there were various animations of the same situation on the jumbotron? There was a different "D-Fence" animation in Movie #5 (Big guy pounding on the word DE-FENCE) than in another vid (D-actual fence). Maybe there's more presentation than we were led to believe.

In my opinion it's not even up for debate, that looks like the most accurate representation of football I've seen in a video-game....

But this is what I keep asking myself, "Is the gameplay so far ahead of the competition that I'd be willing to do without real teams and a Franchise mode?"


I don't know yet, I guess only a demo can answer that question...Great looking game though...
