Some of you guys acting like it's no big deal need to think about the big picture.

How lousy would it be to have a season where there are stats for multiple Dan Marinos? That's just lame. And then, when you play the team that has the same Gold player that you picked (the guy you thought about and contemplated using), how silly is that?

They keep talking about the strategy that is involved in picking your team, but to me that all goes south when the other teams have the option to use the two Gold guys you strategized about.

It looks like where this game will be best is in an online league where we manually not allow duplicate players.

I cant confirm or deny it. I never thought to ask because I never thought that 2k would be dumb enough to do that in franchise mode.

I dont know I just cant imagine 2K letting something like this slip. Online and exhibition fine, but season mode!? I dont know just doesnt seem like 2k would let something like this ride. Hopefully I'm right, if not I hate to say it, but I can't buy this game new.

Yeah, online and exhibition is ok, but in a season it's just dumb.

If that's the case, the only time I'll play the game is in an online league.
