Yeah, I am a avid 2k supporter, but that would be down right stupid to do, to the point I don't think that it is the case. I am sure that they did not make it possible to have the same player on two different teams, that would make no sense.

Dont take that to the bank. The guy from gamespot has had a playable version a lot longer than me. Keep in mind I only had 1 hr w/ the game and to ask questions.

I'm not really an online guy so this would ruin the experience for me. Its bad enough with no franchise, but to have something like this would totally throw off the balance of the league and the season, I cant support this game if they made such an idiotic decision.

yea and the guy also said that the preset teams would be taken into the season too...which isnt the case from alhobert's impressions and the videos....we've seen multiple player from different teams....they wouldnt be dumb enough to alwayssssss have joe montana and jerry rice on the same team

Well, I sure hope it's not the case.

I keep coming back to this one thing: "How much longevity will this game give me?"

With all the great things the game will have, I'm very concerned it'll wear thin come middle of the Fall season where football is thriving.

After a day of watching the NFL, what game am I going to want to play?

If true no purchase for me. I already miss no franchise, and now when I have Walter on my team, I might play Walter in Week 10. Ugh.

Good point. If true, this is probably the worst news yet. I may have been able to overlook No Franchise mode this year and just play season mode with different teams or something... but season mode will be worthless if teams can have the same players.
