that they played the game with 2k

so they were just relaying info from 2k

so yea i trust them

my point was info changed in less than a month

so one guy saying a release date isnt confirmation

The "on the spot" show on Gamespot had a couple of the guys showing off the game and when asked the release one of them said late July.

i pre-ordered my copy of APF2K8 for the 360 yesterday at my local GameStop and i was told the 17th of july...

They asked this question in the Q&A w/ developer Shawn Lee the other night. Shawn had Chau on the cell phone during the chat...as of the Q&A, they said its' the 17th.

at least that's the way I remember it...you can check the transcript on that 2kfootball.com site.
