intreseting... i had to laugh at some of the post. they make madden seem like the simulation game to beat. and i was a madden fanboy. I think 2k will implement there system better. so far i havent been to dissappiont with their sports game up to date.

The difference between 2K's abilites and madden's weapons is that with 2K you don't have to worry about teams being loaded with superstar players just to win a game.....but with madden's weapon system this might be a major problem with online play, not only will players see the same teams (patriots, ravens or colts etc....) now those teams will be loaded with "weapons" making them even more stronger than they already are (so much for replay value).

On the other hand, 2K's replay value for online play will go thru the roof because you'll never play the same team twice....

Why don't you wait for the game to come out?

I mean, I haven't played Madden in years, but lets wait to see what 2k does before we hold up APF in this manner.

I'm jes sayin, I have a feeling that you're going to see a large number of teams with a combination of Elway, Marino, Walter, Barry, and Rice. Jes sayin.

Yeah, it never ceases to amuse me when I hear people say stuff like that.

I don't think it's a coincidence that both companies have this sort of thing. The question is, who came up with it first? I feel like 2K had something leaked and EA jumped on it. EA has been accused of taking some things before and I don't doubt it.
