Yea theres some trouble with EA online gaming. They either crash or just lags.

I have never had any problems like this with other games but with EA, they always have it.

No, there is something about you guys connections. I never have any problems and I play their games all the time. The only real issue I can ever recall is the PS2 a couple years ago had really slow-slow kick returns but that was rectified in 2006.

Also, just FYI, I had a friend who had this problem, only with EA games, and turns out his modem was bad. A new modem fixed it. And yes it was only EA games too.

Count me as one. I used to hate NFL2k with a passion until 2k5 dropped, its a shame EA got the license. Needless to say I am picking up 2k and Madden this year. I have HATED Madden for 4 years now but the game looks dramatically improved this year. 2k with the Legends and it's early release is too hard to pass on...

I can't stand EA's football engine on the next gen (nor last gen for that matter) so I can't appreciate both but I can appreciate the fact that EA engine is good for a lot of people. Just not me. Besides, having different control schemes in the same sport is just too much for my pickled brain to grasp.

Allegiances for console games/brands/systems are NOT the same thing as allegiances towards sports teams...

Because by rooting for ONE team in sports, you are rewarded for your loyalty with a championship or a win or something. Bandwagon riders don't ever REALLY get that feeling, but they win all the time anyway so it doesn't really matter...

If you don't buy a good videogame because of loyalty to another system or brand, you are only missing out on a good videogame and that's your own stupid fault.

Played NCAA for about 1 month last year. Can't spend money like that anymore
