Most anticipated title in years?!!

The lack of Franchise mode bugs me because Season mode has become pretty much useless in other sports titles the past 5 years but I'm more of an online player anyways and if that aspect of the game is good then I'll be set.

I'd say NFL2K5 was the most anticipated title because of it's laundry list of features (and tried to take advantage of the more powerful XBox hardware). APF is intriguing, but I think part of that is because of the uncertainty about what the end product will be and the fact that there's still a decent amount of detail that's unknown

Nope...NBA 2k7 was much more anticipated especially after the demo and game videos hit the net

I can't stand online play in sports games anymore. Everyone plays like a cheeser and it's not even enjoyable for me anymore.

Give me an in-depth franchise mode with some sliders and I'll be set.

for me personally this by far the most anticipatied game release EVER ....again for me....ive never been more excited about a video game

if this is a success....do think 2k will not only continue this with fball ...but also try ti it with basketball and such?

As far as video game football titles go for the more mature gamer this game is highly anticipated. Madden has always been a decent playable game but every year we get a recycled version that never lives up to the hype.2K has given us a great product in the past and the jury is still out on this game but the 2k faithful who have longed for a better choice have had their prayers answered and 2k football has been resurrected. I also think the more mature gamer is more open to the legend gimmick mainly because being older we have actually seen a lot of these players play where as a lot of younger gamers will poo poo 2k because they have no idea who these players are that being said Madden is the game for them. So as far as football titles 2k is the most anticipated game this year the only thing Madden has to offer that I can get excited over is the NFL license and updated rosters, which are initially exciting, but game play usually falls flat.
