I've got both football games and play them back and forth. I DO love the dynasty mode in NCAA (because I feel like games mean something), but I HATE the online. NCAA is fun, but the tackles are awkward and the AI can be wonky (IMO!). I still play it and have fun though....

APF's online is great and the season mode, while Tecmo Bowlish, allows me to take different teams through the season and play with different legends. This IS the Tecmo Bowl of this generation as far as name recognition and fun factor are concerned. The license issue scares away the masses and that's too bad because my brother asked for NCAA for his birthday, I got it for him and after ONE GAME of APF (and a game of NCAA) he wanted to return it for APF...which we did.

Yea I agree this is the Next-Generation Tecmo Bowl.
