In the gamespot preview with Jeff Thomas I was led to believe that you have to hope you match up well with your opponent. It seems to me that you have to run with the team that you already created. That would be cool if both teams got to make one adjustment pregame. It could be done one of two ways:

1. Hidden change that your opponent doesn't see until after the game start
2. Visible change but the home team gets to make his change second.
