I also agree with the Guitar Hero analogy. But my biggest fear, if this idea takes off, is that EA will go out and buy up all the old legends and we'll be stuck playing with them in Tiburon's game rather than 2k's. That would really suck, IMO.

yeah lol I forgot. I always think it was knee for some reason. I was relatively young then but still, if it's in the game, it's in the game, right?

Re: espn.com Page 2 story about the game

Great article, really shows how much effort VC/2K Sports and the (sports) agency had to undertake to get even 240+ legends. Hopefully, APF 2K8 can find an audience and we can see a quasi-annual series for this title. This makes me not only anxious for APF 2K8, but anxious for what (hopefully) could lay ahead for the possible series.

If APF 2K8 is a success, they could possibly find some football-based sponsorship, i.e Nike, Riddell, UnderArmour, Adidas, Champion etc., and sign even more past and current legends. Guys like Bo Jackson, (I'm sure) Deion Sanders, and Michael Irvin will hopefully lower their asking price to be in the next title with teammates and their former "idols." And, two non-Bills I'm hoping make it next go round, Eric ****erson and Howie Long, make an much needed appearance as well.

That would be the final straw for me. EA could kiss my money goodbye.

Hopefully Swann and a lot of his former team will be in the next one. Just a few more days!
