Man, what a great read! I went a head and even commented the author, something I rarely do. Good stuff!

^^ yep

thats a good read i like this quip about Woods

"You have to remember, most of these guys aren't getting called up every day," Reeves says. "It's a pretty exciting thing to be remembered. Ickey Woods was so excited, he offered to fly in and have his measurements taken."

Re: espn.com Page 2 story about the game

It really is good to see all of these guys cash in a little bit. I've gotten enough joy out of being a Stillers fan all these years that I'm glad to give a few coins to guys like Lambert, L.C. Greenwood, Lloyd, Thigpen, Merrill Hodge, etc. All of these years, the "classic" teams would be featured in the NFL games but they would be missing the actual names and player attributes/abilities. I really can't wait to line up Lambert against an online team featuring Earl Campbell. It will take me right back to when I was a kid in '78 or so.

For the record, and for all of the young kids on this board, Earl Campbell, for as good as he was, never could do anything against the Steel Curtain. The Road to the Super Bowl, for the Oilers, always went through (and never got out of) the Great City of Pittsburgh.

I won't even get into how enjoyable it's going to be to knock Cleveland's Bernie Kosar out of the game again. I just wish there were more brownies in the game to injure.
