Anyone tried an all defensive team?

Sorry I couldn't get stats but he quit when Earl Campbell scored his 6th TD (397 yards rushing).

Cunningham was like 3/20 120 yards

Payton was like 11 carries 12 yards

He had Rice, Pearson (Silver), and Ismail as his WRs, Cunningham as his Qb, and Payton as his RB

I had all defense except for Campbell.

Wow...Earl Campbell is that good? That's insane...or did the guy not know how to do the low stick tackle to take his legs out?

I like Gayle Sayers a lot.. a whole lot..Earl Campbell is more of a bruiser then a pass catcher right?

I love Campbell. I can't run with any other back. I tried them all. I don't know what it is but I dominate with Campbell.

His offensive stats:

Cunningham 5/16 68 yards 0 TDs 1 INT sacked 5 times

Emmitt Smith 10 carries 59 yards long of 28 (so 9 for 31 without that long run) 1.2 yards after hit 1 fumble

I tried an almost all D team for usage against the xbox.

RB: Earl Campbell

CB: Night Train Lane
CB: Lem Barney

S: Jack Tatum
S: Charlie Waters

OLB: Robert Brazile
ILB: Harry Carson
OLB: Generic Scrub

DE: Dexter Manley
DT: William Perry
DT: Dan Saleaumua
DE: Clyde Simmons

Quite honestly, I think the team's downfall was the lack of fumbles that the game has. A team like that can't go 5 games before it can get a single fumble and expect to do well. I was anticipating getting about 1-2 each game, which I think would be reasonable (if they were put together).

That being said, it seemed like the more games I played the more the various teams were able to stop my run game and beat me via 6-3, 10-7 etc in double overtimes.

I eventually gave up on the huge d team, though I still like getting any combination of those 4 bronze dlineman, as they tone together.

I've yet to find someone who can stop Campbell. Even if their D is stacked I still put up good numbers.

All this aside, this isn't my main team. My main team has just enough defense to make it tough for you to score but enough offense to overwhelm you in many different ways.

He can be stopped.

I played a Campbell user earlier today. I had Singletary focus on him...I didn't necessarily STOP him, he still had about 90 yards...but that is much better than what he would have had had I not had SIngletary.
