Just a thanks to Visual Concepts and 2K Sports for not allowing EA to monopolize the football market any longer.

APF 2K8 is such a breath of fresh air in every aspect. The gameplay is fun! Attention to detail is great! Everything is great!

Let Visual Concepts and 2K Sports know how you guys feel!!!

I don't know about you but creating a so called "generic" football game took a lot of guts... but they pulled it off great!

I had a couple of my friends over the house last night to check out and play APF. Both of these guys are diehard Madden dudes. One guy even said I'm going to check out APF then play some real football when we play NCAA 08. I kind of laughed it off..... Well we started up APF and as they build their teams and I noticed the look in their eyes as they were picking players, logos, colors of uniforms etc. It was like they were having fun but still uncertain what was to come......

Once we started to play... they really got into the game and was amazed at the detail that VC put into the game. Seeing Montana, Rice & Sanders come back to life was a cool experience for these guys. After a few hard fought games of 10-3 and 14-7 My friend said .... "it takes a lot to win a game you have to work for every yard and when you score you earned it!!" I said "isn't that is what real football is suppose to be about?" We then played NCAA 08. The scores quickly added up. It was 21-17 by halftime. One guy mentioned that something feels like its missing from NCAA08 and Madden. I said you mean things like " Real refs, chain gangs, interactive crowds, 1/2 time shows, active sidelines, player faces, nets coming up when field goals are kicked? He said yeah.. "that's it!!"

I smiled and said APF football has that and more..... after another 10 min of NCAA08 both dudes said man pop APF back in and LET's BALL!!!

So I want to thank VC and TT for making another great sports title and bringing Football back!!

Great to have 2K football back. I'm looking forward to renting it in a few days.

Big thanks to 2K! Best on field expirience hands down. Route running and passing game are incredible. love my little Wayne Crebbet wanna be generic reciever.
