just be patient guys. i feel when it comes to sports games, you should never rush them. plus i usually go by reader reviews and by renting.

Nah, I love the impressions here (which is why I come here), but the reviews are a lot longer, since no one is usually writing 2+ pages worth of info in their impressions. Also, I like watching the video reviews to see the game in action as they talk about it.

I just found it odd that a major release hasn't gotten reviews yet. Like I said, you usually get them no later than the day the game is released, at least at IGN. Gamespot sometimes takes a little longer.

I was wandering the same thing, no APF2k8 or NCAA 2008 reviews at IGN or Gamespot, weird.

The entire point of a review is to critique a game so that consumers have a heads up prior to buying/renting it. What's the point if you aren't going to even review it until after the majority of people have already bought the game? At that point, their own personal opinion matters a hell of a lot more than what you at Gamestop or IGN have to say (and certainly more than what 1up has to say).

When EA released NBA Live 08, there were a lot of rumours that some of the more garden variety reviewers held off on their reviews so as to not impact sales for that release. Let me qualify by saying that OS wasn't considered one of the offenders, since by practice, this site has always taken time with all reviewed games to qualify their opinions. I challenge anyone to look at the usual review release times of many sites, however, and yes IGN I am looking very squarely at you

Given the groundswell of support by the gaming community, you have to wonder if reviews are being delayed again to protect sales for other EA properties that are still to release. They've seemingly done it before, you wonder if they're at it again

Who cares about the reviews... this is the best football game out! Period. Buy it and enjoy it!!

I sometimes think EA pays these reviewers to give the other companies bad reviews, gameplay itself, and the legends itself give it an 8 by itself.
