I give this game a 8.5. I love the little things the game does to represent the sport. This game has loads of potential for next year. Graphics need work, I play in high def and the player models need a little more detail during gameplay. Overall this game plays and feels like football should. The way your QB must crank it it up to throw deep is second to none. I am having a ball online with configuring different teams to match up with different kinds of players. I have also created a few legends. Deion, Bo Jackson and the like. I hope they go a little further with the player editor next season and allow for more gold players to be choosen I think you should at least be able to pick at least a starting 22. 11 Legends leaves holes in your team. Or let us pick 5 gold legends and the rest bronze and silver. Overall the game is very fun to play.

8.5 the only thing missing are some offline features as others have mentioned. This is a thinking mans game and it is fun to try and exploit your opponents weakness rather than exploit a programing flaw in the game

8.5-8.9 This is the best representation of football in a video game period. The little things propelled this into the near 9 range but lack of extras for the offline player which I am, keeps it from that. The gameplay is outstatnding and you actually have to work for every inch in this game.

I will say this, I'd give this game another solid point if it had the NFL license, but still as it being a first effort on the 360 way better than Madden 06 was. That being said 2k5 is/was better than Madden 06 on the 360.
