Favorite Generic Players

I'm still playing with the first team that I created the day I got the game and I'm starting to get a good feel for some of the generic players on my team.

A couple of guys really stand out. I have a CB named Terry Supernaw that is really good and he's a big hitter. My generic kicker can also knock 'em down from 50 yards. The punter is another story. He is just God awful.

One of my generic WR's Husak makes clutch clutch plays for me...key 3rd and longs, and is great in the end zone...hell, he plays like a legend. Dude makes some acrobatic catches and always gets 2 feet in bounds when he's catching a pass near the sideline.

Supernaw and Husak are both great. I try to have both on my team before I save them. BTW Supernaw is a balanced CB # 28, Husak is a possession WR # 82 does have great hands. Many times he is my teams leading wr because nobody pays much attention to him w/ my other 2 wrs as Maynard, Herman Moore and TE Metz. I also like as possession wr Washington, and possesion wr Figueroa # 86.

supernaw is well known as a beast, but i thought husak was my secret. Discovered him while running a deep play to the right after not noticing that jerry rice had been taken out. Dude made the grab in traffic. He made two more by the end, very reliable.

There are a ton of great generics, but Willie Bacon definitely comes to mind first. Shad Malbrough and Kevin Lane are beasts as well. After his performance in my last league game, Jimmy "sure hands" Gibbs has now been added to my list.

TE #86 Kory Mustard - Balanced
WR #87 Gary Isom - Deep Threat

OLB #59 Grant Brown - Coverage
ILB #?? Ndukwe Smart - Run Coverage
CB #21 Howard - Balanced
DT #98 Sulfsted - Balanced

That is all I can remeber at the moment.

No idea what their names are - but I've had a few where I wondered why I even bothered wasting a legend at that position before.

I had a generic who seriously shut down any runner, and I had a generic once who had about an INT a game. It was crazy.

I can't do jack with generic WRs, but there are some good TEs: Kory Mustard (balanced), Ebenezer Konrad (possession), Shaun Baker (balanced).

On defense, I like Bubba Moreau at LB (Coverage), Kevin Lane at CB (coverage), John Sale at safety (coverage), and Terell Minardi at P.
