QB Spy

Does the QB spy actually work in this game. I remember it was pretty much nonexistant in 2k5. Does the LB still wait until the qb is past the line before he reacts? Also how does the cpu react to you running with the QB?

Re: QB Spy

when you select an offensive player to cover the QB is the A button on 360 and the X button (I think thats the corresponding one) on ps3. It doesn't label the QB as it does WR's/RB's and TE's but that is the correct button.

Re: QB Spy

Thanks for the response. But does a guy actually spy the QB or does he wait till the QB has passed the line of scrimmage before he reacts?

It puts your guy in a short zone. He mirrors the qb until he crosses the los. Depending on the defender, and the qb, the qb should get hit around 4 yards or less. I tested with a generic LB and he hit the qb at about 3.5 yards.

Re: QB Spy

Thanks for the response. I was hoping after all these years 2K would get that right. It's one of the few things Madden does well.
