This has to be the dumbest question I've ever seen on these forums...no offense to the OP. Maybe you meant something other than what you typed...

2k gameplay is where the game is layered.

I understood from jump....I've ask this same question before. Anyway the answer is many are just in love with the NFL & EA can put out a tecmo bowl type game & people would buy it because they love there favorite teams. Looking at Maddens gameplay makes me think arcade all the way. Graphics are sharp & modes are deep but thats about all they have on APF when it comes to gameplay.

Have you played NCAA yet?

Geez, nevermind. It's not even worth it trying to talk logic.

Re: IF MADDEN WAS ALL PRO AND ALL PRO WAS MADDEN WOULD YOU BUY IT

I've told so many people that I love the concept of building a team with legends, and while there are many aspects of All Pro I like, I really find myself wishing I was playing the game on the EA Football engine.

That's not to say that I think EA's football engine is better. It's just my preference. Probably more because it's what I'm familiar with than anything else, and I feel like I'm too old to "learn another game". I don't even have to think when I call audibles, do hot routes, or anything like that in an EA football game. But with 2K, it involves pulling out the manual, finding what buttons do what, and then committing them to muscle memory. Sorry...but I just don't feel like putting forth that kind of effort.

I like All Pro, but it will never be a game I'll spend a ton of time with offline. For me, it's pretty much an online only game, to play with against my friends.
