Alvin Harper has hurt me more than once, so I'd say he's a decent choice. I just tried Rice for the first time, and I was pretty impressed. At Bronze, I've had success with both John Taylor and Wesley Walker.

Silver - John Jefferson (Bobby Mitchell or Charley Taylor work for me too). No one uses Jefferson. I like speed, and I love the 'acrobatic catches' ability, so he fits the bill.

I use John Jefferson and Charley Taylor on the other
side. Very very potent tandem. Especially with Roger Staubach throwing to them.

The only Gold receiver I've used is John Mackey. He's a beast and if he gets into the clear he's gone. Linebackers can't match up with him man-on-man (and not many CBs can either for that matter).

At Silver, I've had success with Herman Moore and great success with Jay Novacek. Novacek has caught everything I've thrown at him.

Finally at Bronze, Alvin Harper, Wesley Walker, and John Taylor.

i love herman moore in this game hes a keeper. rocket ismail is also good but he drops some key passes at times.

Henry Ellard (S) Ability - Hops

You have to do it manually for that ability to be useful, but once you get it down you can make catches on go routes in double coverage.

I have tried a few but for my money I like Bobby Mitchell, he's fast and also a huge help in the return game. I also like having John Taylor or Alvin Harper on the opposite side to stop the double teams or the lock down by the gold db.
