7/10. 2 TE set with a deep threat, a QB and a HB, sounds like a nice enough offense. No offensive lineman may be an issue. Your defense is impressive, but may be vulnerable against the Earl Campbell-led teams of the world. Here's my team. I'm 8-7, ranked #200 online on PS3.

G) Jerry Rice (WR)
G) Reggie White (DE)

S) Randall Cunningham (QB)
S) Ricky Watters (HB)
S) Lester Hayes (CB)

B) Alvin Harper (WR)
B) Korey Stringer (T)
B) William Perry (DT)
B) Pepper Johnson (LB)
B) Albert Lewis (CB)
B) Eugene Robinson (FS)

I personally dont like that team. Ricky Watters is weak on this game and Reggie White does not merit a gold pick from the DE position. You can do better than Alvin Harper at bronze WR. Good luck, but I think your team needs some work in my opinion.

Watters is one of the bright spots on my team, and being a 49er fan makes it that much sweeter. He is a pass-catcher, which is what I look for at the position. I had Craig, but Watters has better speed and is a better fit with my personnel. He gives me alot of big play runs. With that said, I might try a bronze RB and beef up my defense even more at silver.

You don't think Reggie White is good enough in this game to warrant a gold?

Better options than Alvin Harper at bronze WR? Like who? He's a perfect big target/deep threat guy to play alongside Rice, and suits Cunningham's skills very well.

I've been a 49ers fan since I was a kid so I went with Joe Montana and took Jerry Rice and John Taylor as wide receivers....in fact my entire offense is almost all ex 49ers, including Roger Craig-HB, Brent Jones-TE, and Tom Rathman-FB...that's just a team I threw together for fun.

Re: Rate the team the person posted above you

G-Rod Woodson (QB)
G-Walter Payton (HB)
S-Bob St. Clair (LT)
S-Elvin Bethea (DE)
S-Herman Moore (WR)
B-Dan Salemaua (DT) (spelling?)
B-Jim Harbaugh (QB)
B-Terry McDaniel (CB)
B-Pepper Johnson (ILB)
B-Nolan Cromwell (FS)
B-John Taylor (WR)

I'm thinking of swapping Sweetness for someone else and picking up a silver half back or shuffle some players around. Any suggestions?

I think what he means is that any gold pick on defense especially pass rushers are reliant on others for their game to be dominant, while on offense, a dominating offensive player will be dominant more often than not reguardless of his teammates. It becomes a matter of picking the right plays to accentuate them.

If you pick White you then have to pick a guy to go with him to make him super effective.
