That is correct- you can push it all day. But it will either work the first time or it never will. Just annoying is all.

Suppose you're running an I Formation pass play, and your opponent suddenly steals your play?

Audible to an I Formation run play (or vice versa). Your players will barely move if at all, and while the opponent is cleverly switching to a zone, you run it down his throat (or vice versa)

Signal stealer is fine as it is, and you gotta have a plan B regardless.

I usually dont do it til right before i think the guy is going to hike the ball. If he's already in motion i will hit it, becuase he has NO time to audible or it will be a delay of game.

I agree that it's flawed. You should be able to try it once, and if you fail then the option should go dead until the next play. There's no reason to be able to just keep slamming the button and spamming it.

I use it all the time. I love it when chumps don't even audible. You should audible, obviously. I think the opponent hears when you sniff the play out to balance it. Knowing your opponent's play without him even knowing it would be just unfair. Part of the strategy of using this is trying to guess what kind of play the opponent would be audibling to (and not showing that you know by shifting your LB's pre-snap). If you sniff out a run to the right, expect the opponent to just reverse the play to the left. Either that or the opponent will audible to a pass.

What I usually do if an opponent sniffs out my play is I pretend to audible, but run the same play anyway. Usually works

just call an audible, that feature is realistic. The great QB's and defensive playmakers are able to read plays in real life.

I thought it. If you dont steal the signal after the furst try you can press away it wont show that down.
