The "..I find the computer alot more challenging..." and the "...cheesy exploits..." excuses are serious copouts. There are many, many gamers out there who do not cheese (www.thexbfl.com) and they will provide you with MUCH more of a challenge than the poor, helpless CPU. If you just don't like playing humans just say that.

Why does this have to be a copout? WOW people online have gone crazy nowadays. I prefer to play human opponents myself but I have to agree with the guy. The CPU is definitely better in this game than in any football game I've played yet. You definitely don't get cheese from the CPU. I just prefer to play human opponents myself.

On the field it's a great game no doubt. But a system seller it is not.

If a great playing football game is that important to you, then maybe it is worth getting a 360. Plus there are other great 360 titles out there and on the way. I bought a used xbox just to play Inside Drive 03, but it was worth it because there were other great games.

2K football was a system seller for me, but then again the Dreamcast was MUCH less expensive than this generation.

So I'd say no, not worth buying a 360 for. But you could probably think of a couple other reasons to buy one, right? Then again, if you don't have one yet . . .

Re: Is this game worth buying a 360 for?

It would have been a system seller for me if I didn't already have a 360 as was NFL 2K and the dreamcast. LOL I remember when I bought the dreamcast , I grabbed the game first and said "I want this... now what do I need to play this on?" LOL.

Since I'm not a huge franchise guy the single season is just enough for me. I get my fun with with online and friends coming over. They come over, pick the team they created, and then commence to getting that **** waxed by yours truly.
