Is the demo of APF 2K8 considerably worse graphically than the full version?

The reason I ask this, is that I just came back from a Gamestop and they had the demo running on the 360. I'm a PS3 owner and I was curious what the game would look and play like on a 360.

Now don't get me wrong I could definitely see the improvement over the PS3 in framerate, but graphically it was a jaggy mess. Not only during gameplay but also during the cuts-cenes. They had the game running on one of those standard demo rigs that they have running in Gamestops (LCD w/component connection), so I'm assuming it was pumping out 1080i resolution. The PS3 version IMO look substantially better graphically, at least my set-up, which isn't all that (26" LCD w/HDMI-to-DVI adapter connection, which, I assumes gives me a 720p output)

I've been going back and forth over whether I should go back to the 360, but see this demo gave me a little reassurance to hold on to my PS3 for a bit.

So for those of you that have played the demo and played the full version did you notice a difference between the two graphically, and was it significant?

Quality-wise, I'm just trying to figure out if what i saw on the 360 demo, an accurate version of the game. Just need some opinions from people out there who have played both for the 360, because i haven't been able to...

I have a CRT HD setup that does 'only' 768p, and I've never seen any jaggies in 2K8. Everything looks crappy to me on LCD's, but hey that's my personal opinion. I remember seeing Grand Turismo (I think it was GT) for PS3 running on a top-of-the-line LCD at Gamestop and I asked the manager "is this a PS2 game?" he said "No, it's PS3." I was like "Really? What model of TV is this?" He then proceeded to tell me the make and model which happened to be a high-end Sony model and I started laughing. I said "Man, my CRT at home does 768p and it would SLAUGHTER this thing!"

I should also mention that 2K8 on that same TV at Gamestop also looked equally as crappy. Could there have been something wrong with the TV? maybe. I dunno.

Yeah, it was shockingly bad. i mean I heard a bunch of people on here complaining that the graphics for this game were last-gen. i never thought that, with the way it looks on my LCD at home, but when i saw it today at Gamestop, I was like wow that does look last-gen, something else has got to be going here for it to look as bad as it did.

this game's graphics are not perfect (lighting and fields) but the textures are excellent, the models are big and the reflections are not bad.

If the lighting was better and it had NFL uniforms/colors I promise people would be declaring BEST graphics ever.

IMO the tv it was running on was not optimized properly. I see that all too often, they have it set at very high sharpness level which exacerbates jaggies or the res is wrong (720p is best image for X360 -depending on your tv) and/or they do not have the dash set up correctly etc.

There isn't a drastic difference in the demo's graphics versus the full version imo. Definitely not the difference between MLB2K7 demo and the retail version - was a huge difference there. The problem w/the graphics imo is the default unis are bland. Once you get into creating cooler ones/something more familar, it's easier to appreciate the graphics in APF

Must've been something wrong the with TV I seen. The more expensive LCD's look okay, but I don't know many people with them.

The 2K8 I was watching at Gamestop was for 360, by the way.
