I use Walter Payton...he is just a good all around back, but not the best at any one thing, so if you are to be successful with him, it forces you to mix it up to keep the D off balance...and since he is not the best at any one attribute (Gale/Oj/ Barry are faster, Earl is more powerful/ better at breaking tackles), one cant accuse you of cheezing if you run him for 150 yards and have him catch for another 80.

Definitely my favorite 'running' silver RB. I also like R. Watters when I plan on throwing it around to the backs out of 5 wide sets, and C. Warner isn't bad either. Okoye is the best value in the game at bronze though, as long as you are patient enough to run with him, as speed is not his strong suit.

BTW, you are going to have to get rid of that pic in your sig...better I tell you than someone else.

Is Muncie as fast as Earl? What are his abilities?

I pass to Muncie all the time. He's currently the leading rusher, and leading reciever in one of the leagues I'm in. He will also give it everything he's got every play. That's what I like about him.

Pics aren't allowed in sigs?

I think he is as fast, but not possitive. His abilities are arm of steel, and branching tackles.

I agree that he is a good pass catcher (as are most of the legend RB's actually)...Watters and Craig (at the silver level anyway) are a little better running the actual WR routes out of a 5 wide set up though, rather than just routes out of the backfield. He is a great runner as you say...good balance of speed and toughness. Branching tackles is my favorite ability for RBs.

no...you may have noticed no one else has one

i went from a gold RB to a silver and my running game is way better. There are some hidden gems out there.

I agree....online guys seem to ignore the RBs if they aren't gold or Okoye, and that can really play to your advantage.

The only Gold RB I use from time to time is M. Allen - and when I use him it is usually extensively in the passing game (he is IMO the best receiving RB in the game....deadly out of those 5 wide sets).
