Yep, that seems to be the case. Haven't played enough games to say anything for certain, but so far the gameplay changes seem very subtle. Running backs definitely seemed toned down and defensive players seem to be making more sure tackles. DBs seem to be more aggressive

I've played a couple games online. Dbs actually look a lot worse than before. My 2 gold corners couldn't cover 2 bronze WRs. But Dline seems to play more agressively. They seem to do their special moves more often.

I know you know how to play the game dunelly but I have played quite a few offensive heavy teams and I can handle them... pretty well regardless if I am working with Legends in the Defensive backfield or generics. I am not saying I havent been torched before but overall I can play defensively with most squads.

Your the 1st person I heard say the DB's got worse. Most have been saying they've gotten better.

They're definitely breaking on passes more consistently. I recorded two replays post patch that were just beautiful DB plays on the ball. I had my interception slider turned up to 67, but may have to move it back down. Tackles are definitely more sure in the open field. This is where redoing the juke system would benefit elusive backs immensely; hopefully they'll do so next year. The defense definitely seems to have gotten a bump. The patch doesn't appear to be as extensive as the NBA/MLB2K7 patches were, but there are some noticeable changes there
