has any one else seen this?
I forgot what company it was but it was for some type of caravan....the mom was basically calling everyone to the car, and the dad was playing APF when they cut to him...

pretty cool...
they where also playing NHL 2k (dont know which one) in the car

Yea I saw it yesterday. They show everybody and then they show the dad playing APF on what looks like a pc monitor, looked to small to be a tv

Caught me by suprise..lol

Yeah there's also one with some kids playing 2K's hockey in the car. They have the 2K logo all big and what not in the lower right hand corner. LOL

Yeah, saw this a few days ago. I'm not sure why they went through so much trouble with that though as the guy was using a keyboard to pause the game. It must be that they didn't want to get Xbox licensing so they set up the PC.

my daughter and I saw the commercial and both thouht we were seeing things. We hit rewind and were pleasantly surprised.

Any exposure for APF is good but I wonder if they paid for this.

It's product placement. Advertisers have to come up with new ways to get things out there. The advertising team for Chrysler and 2K Sports might be the same company... The advertising team for Chrysler may have shopped around the idea of selling space on their virtual screens (picture simulated) to various videogame companies, with 2K Sports taking the bait... My guess is that though some money may have changed hands, it's more likely that you will end up seeing Dodge/Chrysler banner ads in the background of next year's 2K Sports offerings in stadiums and arenas. Quid Pro Quo. It works.
