Respectfully, I am surprised at the amount of those willing to buy 2k9 on the first day. I am still a little steamed that I spent 60 bones on the game and now it is $21 at Walmart. This is a football video game, not a new car. It shouldn't have depreciated that drastically. I liked 2k7, but grew tired of it after a while. I feel like 2k8 was rushed and 2k9 better come with a lot more to justify any pricetag over $30. The infinite hope of a football gamer...I just have the terrible feeling of another year of subpar football, imo.

like many others here day one purchase for me also, still love playing APF 2k8 and it got even better to me after the patch. Personally I hope they get rid of the legends..at least for franchise and just add more to the game

I feel 2k9 will be a better football year for 2kSports. I think they will blow us away with their next game.

I am pretty sure they are goin to add a similar euphoria type engine into their game.

They need to step it up there are more competition.

No doubt. Come july when I have a 105 degree pre-football season fever I'll buy just about any new football game.

Rented, but did not buy 2K8 because it was so lacking in offline features. I will wait; if they've significantly added to and improved the offline features, the game will be a for-sure purchase. Otherwise, no.

I'm still undecided. If they improve some things like, more creative options, and franchise perhaps, then hell yeah, but until then, maybe.
