why were online records reset??

I go online today and see my record as 1-1 (having played two games in the last week and none before those in the previous month). Why were the records reset? I'm kinda upset about that.

I mean, I'm not the kind of guy that cares that much about his record that I'll cheat/cheese my way to a win, but the wins I had were hard-fought ones, legit too. I was proud that I had a high winning-percentage AND a perfect 2k rating. Now it just looks like I bought the game yesterday. That's ********.

Mine was reset a few weeks ago after not playing for a month (360 in repair). I also don't really care about ranking, but nobody wants to play people who appear to have only played a few games, so I found it a pain in the *** trying to get anyone to play me.
