All stats reset on Leaderboard xb live

I have posted this in another thread and other people tell me their stats were not reset only his record.
Like I posted before I could care less that they reset my record. I understand that it prevents the cheesers that refuse to lose, but why reset all the stats that were so cool to accumulate. It's been a partial game killer to me. Why not have Weekly, Monthly and All time stats...

Crazy that you would wipe out all those stats.
