Relatively speaking they're all unknowns. I don't see how this route would be any better than simply going completely generic

Plus they have the foundation to go completely generic already if they want. Hell I think the Mark Smith CAP was brilliant. Now if they have the entire game like that I wouldn't care at all. Or have what they already have and add a bunch of players like Smith who are generics.

2k getting an NFL license back is a pipe dream. It simply isn't going to happen.

I am with LBZ, generic league with players like Mark Smith.

I agree with the idea of sticking with generic and letting us do what we want.

Why sign to a league that is unproven and unknown? Maybe in three or five years this game will be able to have a video game.

Ditto. Generic with customization would be cool.

I would personally enjoy setting up my own non-nfl pro league and name all of the teams, players etc.
