I don't own these but from what I've read and seen via video:

- Live '08: not very good
- Madden '08: not very good
- March Madness '08: not very good
- NFL Tour: horrid
- FIFA Street: horrid/not very good
- NCAA '08: slightly better than Madden - still not very good imo lol
- Tiger Woods '08: not very good

That's all I could think of off the top of my head. Not sure why you included The Show, that's a 989 game. I saw a blip in the recent Game Informer that EA said they look forward to talking to MLB regarding them getting back into making baseball games. I guess people feel The Show would somehow be spared by EA not trying to take full exclusivity, but if I had to bet on it I'd say they would prefer to eliminate competition as they have with the football games. Of course, no one will care until it's too late.

Wonder if people will be too hard on 989's NBL Baseball 2012

You do realized you just used the two least popular sports as an example right. Nothing against hockey and soccer, but they arent top tier in popularity.

Didnt know EA made The Show? Did EA buy Sony as well ?


This is the death blow for sports gaming IMO. And the end to what EA set out to do when they bought the NFL contract. Game over. Were buying nothing, but jerseys and player names for the forseeable future. Maybe we will get lucky and they will slap NFL player names on the players in APF and call it Madden 09.


We really should have boycotted this company when the NFL deal went down.
