Longing For a Patch

I have a question for the technical people here. If 2K were to release a patch for this year what things could be implemented? New legends, new logos, and new game modes? Or, are these things not possible? Just trying to stoke the smoldering embers of hope.

You see that dark grey pool of what looks like mud? Well thats the embers doused with about 30 gallons of water months ago. Those embers have long been extinguished. But to answer your question they could patch about anything they wanted in the game.

They should at least be able to add more legends, teams, logos, stadiums, and unis. Even if they charged something like 5 to 10 bucks hell it would be cool. Wishful thinking.

God, I wish . . . take off auto-strafe, fix the DB zone recognition on outs, and I'm solid for the next five years. Unfortunately, this is not going to happen, not now, not ever. The best we can hope for is to spread the love about the game and rebuild a critical mass of folks who we can play online and trust not to take advantage of the few things that are broken in the game.

I gather a list of all of the bugs that need to be fixed. About 15 to 20 that greatly impact gameplay and are many of the common exploits in the game, and another 10 to 15 changes (not new functionality, just changes) that are necessary to help extend the life of the game (removing team cap of 8, and created player cap of 20 for example). Unfortunately with EA breathing down Take Two's neck, I'm not sure anything that doesn't have a $$$ attached to it will be a high priority.

Hell like I said in an earlier post. Charge like a $10.00 fee if they make a good patch and add a few new teams or logos or players.
