Re: Johnny Unitas

If you like pocket guys, I'm having some good success with Ken O'Brien. He's got nice touch and accuracy and would make a very nice compliment to a gold RB, imo.

Re: Johnny Unitas

You know, I've never used Johnny U. In fact, I'm almost a year into the game and I just feel like I'm scratching the surface with the player combinations you can make for a team. I just put together a pre-1970's team and it's really interesting to use guys that I've only seen highlight clips of.

I think I'll put Unitas on my next team, though, just to try him out.

You ever feel like when you're playing with that team that you are actually playing in a highlight reel? It sounds pretty stupid I guess, but when I play with guys like Bough and Unitas, I actually see a difference in the way they run, throw, everything, even with the other players besides the QBs, like when I play with Raymond Berry, I can see a difference between him and Jerry Rice.

You should be mad at the NFL then, not ESPN. It's not the ESPN licensing agreement that's keeping 2K from releasing another NFL game, it's EA's agreement with the NFL.

Personally, I don't know who to blame since I don't know much about business and never cared enough about the situation to look into it.

I haven't used Unitas, of the Gold level I've used Marino, and Elway. Both have distinct styles.

I'm currently using Cunningham as I used my gold on Sanders in the backfield. He does a pretty good job, and I use him to scramble occassionally as well.
