The Little Things Revisited

This is more of a tribute thread to one of the greatest sports game ever. Almost a year of constant playing I as still seeing new things.

I am practice my deep routes and a generic db was beat and he tackled my player. Just look really cool.

My qb drop back and threw a bomb and the ball had a wobble. I played over the replay and I saw that my qb arm was hit on the follow through that cause the ball to become a dead duck. I have seen when my qb get hit at the beginning of the throw but not at the end of the throw.

Those are the things that separate 2k sport's from other sport's developer's.Most developer's just go for graphic's & forget the most important part a sport's game.

this is making me want to play this game for the first time in 10 months or so.

thats what i love about this game, you can play for a few years and youll still see new things.

LOVE the weather effects in this game...

I was playing in the snow, using my CAP Patriots team... huge 50-yard bomb to Randy Moss, Moss catches it around the 5 yard line, he's all alone - he loses his footing because of the snow, stumbles and falls just inside the end zone. VERY cool.

Another thing, I saw a linebacker tip a pass over the middle - but AFTER the tip, my receiver (Cliff Branch) fell DOWN to the ground, to make the catch after the pass was deflected. Unbelievable.

Love how the safeties read the QB's eyes. You'll see them shift to whatever side the QB is looking at. If you play it right, you can bait the safety to cheat one way, then come back over the top on the other side. Love that realism.

Just had my kicker slip while attempting a kickoff (it was raining), that's something I've never seen before.
