Does anyone still agree with this. I know that there are some balance issues but man I would have loved to have an option like this in the game. Plus it would have given many players the incentive to research these great teams and legends.

i think they should add more legends, i'd love to make the 85 bears team among others
i like the idea but they should add more legends to the game as well to increase the different teams you could make...

The less generics the better. 2k dropped the ball. 2 golds is fine, but there should have been the ability to have alot more bronze, a wider selection of bronze, and possibly another tier below bronze of REAL players.

G: WR Raymond Berry
G: TE John Mackey
G: OT Jim Parker
G: DT Art Donovan
G: DE Gino Marchetti
S: WR Lenny Moore

Unfortunately all those players did not play together in 1 NFL Season. I still wouldn't mid playing against this team since the whole defensive secondary would be generics.

Re: Team building Ultimate Alliance style!

I created the '85 Bears (with Jim Harbaugh instead of Mike McMahon, Harbaugh played on the Bears though from '87-93)

Also the '90 Giants. I created the Golds as TE Mark Bavaro, and OLB Lawrence Taylor.
