One year later...

It has been one year since this game came out, and even though it did not receive the love from most gamers, I still enjoy playing this game.

Re: One year later...

Me too. I feel like I've only scratched the surface with the possible team combinations one can put together in this game.

Heck, I haven't even used hardly any of the Gold RB's and QB's!

Once I move, I'm thinking about upgrading to Gold and joining a league to increase the replayability of the game, too. Offline is fun, but I can only play 1-2 games a day against the CPU...after a while, the games all feel the same, no matter what team you play.

Re: One year later...

People slammed this game because it was:

1) "too hard"

2) didn't have a mode where you can play the same boring, exploitable AI for 80 gagiliion seasons ad nauseam.

But in doing so, they overlook the fact that:

-- on the field, this game plays (and animates) more true to the sport of football than any game to date

-- strategically, this game offers more ways to play football than any game to date.

Their loss, I say.

True. You know what else I like? The ball in the game. I watched a replay last night, and I was really impressed at the way it moved. It looked like a real football the way it bounced and rolled. Very realistic.

Re: One year later...

Football game that's not called "NFL" will forever be less popular, no matter how good it is. That's a shame!
