Then I kept pass rush bonus and kept loose ball magnet and still I didn't really see a difference. Only in space or when a ball carrier comes close to that player, they react fast to make the play.

Guys like Bednarik, Dick Anderson, Jim Marshall and others with loose ball magnet are always aggressive when chasing the ball carrier when it is near them. They react FAST, and not slow like other players that have run coverage. Which can be a problem cause sometimes they run right into a block or they take to direct an angle or just a flat out poor route to the ball. Their reaction speed is high!

I've noticed this with Bednarik--he's one of the quickest to the ball in the game. Anderson is really, really good as well.

I switched my gold player from Reggie White to Ronnie Lott, and oh boy I'm happy for the change! I had 4 INT's in one game, plus with his leadership rating, he makes other players on defense play better! I've always enjoyed playing defense more than offense in 2K games!

This might go to something I noticed the other day, messing around with Paytons 'scissors kick', and that the line of scrimmage works as a type of boundry for some abilities, possibly 'ball magnet', most definitly 'scissor kick' fully charged it has no effect that Ive seen, behind the line, once past thu its almost a guaranteed missed tackle(shhh, tell no one).
