Press Y to audible, then hit RB.

My main tip when it comes to this game is don't quit playing it before you understand how to control the game. Coming over from EA sports to APF is a totally different experience and you wills struggle with controlling the movement of the players.

Be patient get the movement down and there will be plenty of strategy involved to make this game a mainstay in your portfolio of online gaming.

As far as a gameplay tip goes: Set your feet in the pocket. This isn't Madden or NCAA you need to be squared up and set before you throw the ball or you will truely struggle with the pass game. In addition, step into the pocket. It is your friend.

Just read this, but, what creatine said. The Protections alter which DT gets doubled and DE. It also changes with defensive front.

First, you have to understand your own offensive and defensive philosophy. Then pick skill sets of players that will promote your way of playing.

Tell us what your style and we can recommend players that fit.

Oh yeah, think of this game as a team building sim.

Peace

I like the west coast offense with the ability to go downfield as well.

Defense i guess i prefer the 4-3 with the LOLB being ultra quick and good in pass rushing RDE the same.

If that's your preference, I'd recommend Chuck Bednarik at LOLB. He's very quick, is a devastating tackler, will make plays on the ball in coverage, and if controlled manually, can help with the pass rush because of his speed and agility. He's not going to put a great swim or rip move on, but if you have the right combo of DL call and blitz lane, you can shoot a gap from time to time to disrupt the play.

If you like WCO, I'd select a pass blocking guard or two to give you pocked integrity on the short drops, as these can be disrupted if the DT gets the inside lane. Alternatively, you can select a QB with quick feet so you can reposition yourself promptly if the OL doesn't give you a solid pocket. Steve Young is great at pocket movement. At Bronze, good fits are Dave Kreig, Jim Harbaugh, and Tommy Kramer. You want to favor accuracy over throwing power in that system, so I'd avoid a rocket arm QB and take one with laser arm.
