Really loving this game again since changing my teams. I get a lot less frustrated when my offense underperforms than when my defense does, so I went back to my tried and true formula of having a stacked defense and an offense that can control the clock.

Since the new teams there was only one frustrating moment, unrelated to the engine. Was playing an awesome game, back and forth the whole time, I played good defense in OT to get the ball after losing the toss, and made some plays to get to his 20 yrd line. I line up the winning kick, pull back on the stick, then the game goes COMPLETELY laggy...as in unplayably laggy and we hadn't had any the whole game. I miss the kick due to mistiming it from the extreme lag. I open my message bar in live and contemplate sending a message to the guy flat-out asking him if he pulled the ol standby trick with his router, but then think to ask one simple question:

Me: Hey, what are you doing right now?
Wife: i JUST started streaming a 30 rock on hulu, why?

Lost. Now if that one didn't make me swear off the game, then i think i'm in good shape.

When you find a non-cheeser to play against, the game can't be beat.

When the guy moves to kick cursor to the corner on the opening kickoff to get the roll out of bounds animation, I'll often quit right there and save the frustration.

2k needs to give us at least one more game and fix the few known cheese features in the game. I'll never understand the mind that uses CPU exploits on every play, these people will probably cheat to beat their kids at Candy Land and Checkers when they procreate.
