Christian Okoye

Okay, I have Okoye on my team and I would think that the Shoulder charge would be the best for him, but he keeps getting tackled and brought right down. Am I using the right move for him?

Re: Christian Okoye

Yep. I found his stiff arm to be pretty good, too.

Talk to DJwolfpack--he's the maestro when it comes to Okoye. Led our league in rushing with him. He doesn't fit my style personally, and he can be bottled up if you get to him before he gets rolling, but if you are good with power backs he's a great value.

Re: Christian Okoye

I hope the bronze rb I'm drafting does half the damage Okoye did last season. I felt bad when I gave him over 100 yards when we played, but I felt better when he was torching guys for 200+ lol.

Giving away the draft strategy or is it all a smokescreen?

To the OP, Okoye is a very good back, but I too had the same problem finding success with his shoulder charge. I started having more success once I began squaring up with the guy I wanted to mow over and hitting the Y button a little earlier than I wanted to...I think my natural timing was to hit it later than I should. If you still have difficulties with Okoye give Means or Foster a try. I've found them to be a bit more forgiving as far as bronze powerbacks go.

I'llllllllllll neeeeeeeeeeeever teeeeeeeeeeeell lol.

I've got to run a few games with a prototype of my squad and I guarantee you will see an improved team. During the last draft I was more concerned about what everybody else was doing instead of building a squad based on my own specific philosophy. The results were abysmal to say the least. I've definitely learned a lot from all of those L's.

O.J. did light it up though...definitely the scariest back in the league IMO. Can't believe you'd shake up such a successful running attack.
