Laterals

Has anyone ever scored a touchdown after a lateral? I've got close on a kickoff return and on an INT return, but never actually done it. Obviously I wouldn't do it online, but I don't play online anyway lol.

I do it online all the time. I almost returned one for a touch on a kickoff. Have not done it on an int.

I've only scored 1 lateral TD that I can recall. I've had a few fumbles doing this, so it's nothing that I try a whole lot.

Yeah, you do fumble a lot. I spent a while in practice trying to see if I could do the Boise State "Circus" play. Never managed it though.

Never scored a TD, but I have created my own 'Hook and Lateral' type play.

I select a play where the outside receiver has a medium depth out route (7-10 yards) and hot route the slot receiver on that same side to run a short out. I drop back and throw to the outside receiver and immediately pitch it back to the inside guy. It's not perfect, but it's something fun I run against friends, and usually get 10-15 yards.
