In some circumstances yes, but in most it doesn't great example is vs two soft the safety nearly 100% of the time will turn before the WR hits his zone resulting in a easy completion. This takes no skill just call a streak route and wait for the defender to turn his back. Like I said if a guiy wants to run them its cool but to me its weak and shows lack of skill in setting up an offense. Again this is just a personal opinion. Like I said "I'll" stop it, because its not unguardable, but is very easy to complete against someone who can't compensate.

It is pretty cheap, because it's exploiting the weak AI.

In real life, a safety will never turn around and start running BEFORE the receiver runs past him. In 2k, if the WR barely edges to his zone, the safety immediately knows that it's a streak and runs blindly upfield.

I will just power run right at them if they go into a 3-2 all the time. Bring in a 2 tight end set and iso them.

In there normal positions except when you go to your 3-2, assign your safeties to play the nickel spots, and let your generics play deep, with a Gold and a Silver holding down the sidelines and 4 good options in the middle (FS,SS,2LB's) you should be able to contain any pass audible and have pretty stout run coverage....Disclaimer I would never run this defense b/c 3-2 has no business on the field against larger base formations, but if I did this is how I'd set it up.
