I second this. I feel the difference between a legend and generic pass blocker isn't quite as dramatic as say a legend WR and a generic WR.

Re: West-coast offense

I've been running the Walsh WCO exclusively since Season Two began, and I don't think you need any lineman. You shouldn't be holding onto the ball long enough to get sacked much. Recommending Guy was just a suggestion for better personnel if you were to select an OL for that system.

I think Brent Jones is every bit worth the silver pick. He's got 5 TDs for me in 7 games and 405 yards receiving. He does a nice job on the short stuff and has that classic WCO ability to create matchup problems with LBs.

Watters, on the other hand, I've never had much success with in this system. I have Nathan and am getting plenty of production from him. In this system, it's not like you're asking your HB to carry the load. It's great if you have one that cane make a huge difference, but the way I run the system, the HB is a role player, not the centerpiece of the offense.

I'd recommend Dave Krieg/Bernie Kosar/Len Dawson as WCO QB. Any Gold or Silver WR is usually good. Then have for your 2nd and 3rd options have Dwight Clark, Ricky Sanders, Rob Moore, Pet Metzelaars and/or John Taylor. Your RB should have soft hands, however it depends on your running style.
