Oh well, the NFL Draft is soon and the roster creators for NFL 2k5 are better than anyone in the business. I will try to remain optimistic and get excited (for the 3rd year of updating rosters) for my NFL 2k10 season

I am personally not going to get my hopes up that 2k ever releases another football game (I mean, as long as EA has the exclusive license). I will just keep having a blast with 2k8 and get on with my life.

Yep, he did. lol With them making NBA2K, MLB2K and NHL2K there just isnt any time for a football game right now.

Theres no way in hell an NHL game would sell more than APF... Atleast, not a full featured APF. A nonlicensed football game *could* sell if they atleast stuck with it more than a year.

Anyway, Im just a broken record here. I hope someone else steps up to try to compete with Madden, it would be better for everyone. Obviously it aint gonna be 2K.

why don't they just sell a patch online that opens up the customization the game...... no limit on anything....almost like a mod mode.... what is the downside, from their perspective, in this....

then we can create an NFL 2k10 or what ever.....and they get positive money on the side.... how hard is it to open up some options in the game?

I would pay for a patch. Just think no hardware to ship no new mass advertising budget, just put some time into a great patch charge us $15 each and after about 35,000 of us download it you just made another $525,000!!

Same here. I've been playing video games since they were invented and never played one game as much as I do with APF2K8. Simply the best vid game I've ever owned.

I am in the same boat as him. I been playing them pretty much from the get go. I remember having them hand held football games with red dots on the screen and you just ran the dot. lol
