Best Generic QB?

I am going with a Generic QB for TB4, which is very hard. They can't even throw 25 yards... Anyone know which setting I should use (Scrambler, Balanced, Pocket Passer) or any specific QB I should look for? (Lowell Doyle, Max Barnum, so on?)

Re: Best Generic QB?

I have heard McGee is the best. I had pretty decent luck with Doyle the other day (only 1 wild throw all game long).

I have the most success with Doug Miller. He has a strong arm and throws well on the run (especially for a pocket passer generic).

Also had success with Mcgee and Barnum.

Doug Miller, Lowell Doyle, Max Barnum--all are good for me.

I'm doing well with Brock under center.

You should hit up Thiry Three Degrees (think that's his nick), used to go by Hibachii. He rolled with a generic QB for a long, long time. Probably knows the ins and outs of a lot of the players. He plays with Max Passing too, so might be able to tell you who you can get the best bang for you buck if you're a MP'er as well.

Re: Best Generic QB?

one time i used a guy, his name is michael melton. prett god player, could usually come through when i needed him. of course, that doesn't mean i could throw 40 yard passes at whim, but towards the end of the half and the 4th quarter, he was pretty good

Re: Best Generic QB?

I've used a few generic QBs and Brian McGee (Pocket Passer) is the best I've found. He has a better (read: more accurate, not stronger) arm than most of the other generics I've used, but the one thing I really like about him is that he doesn't immediately fall apart under pressure. Most generic QBs will start making errant throws after a few hits, but McGee stays pretty consistent throughout the game even if he's being beaten on a bit.
