Wassawa Edmonds, Supernaw, and there is also a generic TE I like but can't think of the name right now.

I see alot of people like Lane, can't get him to do much for me. He did have a huge interception against me in a league game that sealed the deal. My opponent swore by him too.

IMHO... Hannibal Seals and Simon Peter are better than most legend linemen. Leeroy Green is better than many bronze HBs.

Why spend/waste a legend pick when you can get a generic to perform better than a legend?

I think its placebo and nothing can convince me otherwise.

Ive never given any thought as to who my generics are, and its never made a smidge of difference.

I have always thought the same way. Until I ran into a lobby match where someone had Leroy Green.

There is no way he is not better than any other generic back. He had speed and ran all over me.

The only evidence you could have is if you cracked the Roster file and looked at the numbering yourself. That's the only evidence wish is 100% irrefutable. I wish you luck in that endeavor. Please report back when you have completed the task.

If you play the game enough including practice mode with different team settings you will see a very noticable difference.

as an example Hakim and Brad Allen are two very good gen corners I would say hakim is one of the fastest players in the gm.

Armstrong and ahanatu are two very good wr's that I can think of off the top of my head.

I have played with and against these gens and there "IS" a difference. there are too many to name but it is a long list indeed.BTW it applys to kickers too. I like barrow or brown....I cant stand Epstein, he sux balls.

Good call on the kickers, this is about as close to visual proof that you are going to get in APF2K8. You can easily see a difference in the accuracy and leg strength of the kickers, notable by the way they line up with the ball. The closer in they are towards the ball (right / left alignment) the more accurate they are, and the closer to the ball (forwards / backwards) the better leg strength they possess. My preference is Griffin because he's a lefty, with the strongest leg, though low accuracy.
