I just finished my first Regular Season and have decided to keep my stats and other notable information in this topic since there is no franchise mode in APF 2k8.
I'll continue you update this topic regularly after each season and hopefully post some video highlights also.
I'll be playing the playoffs tonight. Wish me luck.

I will also note that I play on 8 minute quarters and get pretty good results. I'm a run first guy, and Cutler's arm can really spread the field (he is one of my Gold players, along with Forte). I'm pretty satisfied with my passing stats.
I'm usually a gunslinger (the style kind of grew on me since I played with Grossman at QB since NFL 2k4, and really liked utilizing his big arm), but I calmed down and fine tuned my game, focused more on short and medium routes (as shown with Olsen's production), and I'm very pleased at the 28 TDs to 6 INTs that this playing style generated.
Mostly just changing the schedule around and I may adjust certain positions in and out.
For example, I might sub out one of my bronze players (Orlando Pace) for Earl Bennett, since my receiver core is pretty bad other than Hester and Olsen (which lead to the 34-17 route in the playoffs).
I'm doing something similar with my all-FSU team that I created. I'm going to play through one season with the current team I have assembled and then restart another season with the same team (city, nickname and uniforms), only I'll swap out most of the players from Year 1 with a new batch of guys.
I'm playing on Legend with 10 min. quarters (accelerated clock)

I played on All-Pro, 8 minute quarters with accelerated clock.
My offensive was about where I wanted it, but I really would like to see more tackles, INTs, etc out of my defense.
So I think I might restart year two and do it with 10m quarters and up the difficulty of the CPU defense while perhaps lowering the difficulty of the CPU offense (they are waaay too good running the ball).

I've started something similar with Miami. Just curious..who are you using in your first year with FSU?
